Nourished Life Deluxe Samples Beauty Box – July 2018 Review

This is by far my favourite box from Nourished Life Beauty so far. I love everything in it! For $25 shipped this box is a steal. Not just because the value is there but for people like me who find one natural/organic skin care product and then are reluctant to change or spend money on something different or new I might not like. For that reason this box is gold.

There was some mix up or delay with this box that has pushed the August delivery date back, I’m not sure what it is, I barely glanced at the lovely email update they sent, all that matters is one box is here and another will arrive in due course.

Nourished Life Deluxe Samples Beauty Box – July 2018 Cost $25 (incl shipping)

Review: Lariese Exhilarating Shower Gel 250ml RRP $13.95

I love the packaging of this product, it looks luxurious which you don’t often get in the organic/natural ranges. It smells heavenly and after reading a little more about it on the website it can also be used as a hand wash which would make it last a lot longer if you weren’t willing to spend $14 on a 250ml of shower gel. This product is certified organic, GMO/GE free and doesn’t test on animals.

I feel like I’m going tick, tick tick down my mental list here. This has everything I love in a product! I can see myself adding this to my go-to list of products.

Ingredients: Purified Water, Coco Glucoside (coconut oil derived), Organic Aloe Vera Juice, Alpha Olefin (castor oil derived), Sea Salt, Organic Calendula Extract, Organic Chamomile Extract, Organic Rosehip Extract, Glyceryl Oleate (glycerin and natural oils derived), Lemon Myrtle Essential Oil, Bush Lime Essential Oil, Organic Lemon Scented Tea Tree Essential Oil, Organic Argan Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Avocado Oil, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate (food grade preservative), Parfum (additional vegetable preservative).

Review: Eco Modern Essentials Aroma Sinus Clear Blend RRP $16.00

Its hard for me to review this product effectively as I have never had a sinus issue in my life! However my husband does and so I will keep this on hand for when he next needs it and will come back to this page and review. I will say it smells great and the ingredients are safe.

Review: Life Basics by Nourished Life Nourishing Body Oil 100ml RRP $16.95

What is this product even for? Do I care? No I don’t! I just want to smell it and rub it all over, its that fantastic.

OK I did have to get my iPhone light out to read the fine print to see what its for Put it is a massage oil or hydrating oil. For use after shower or bath or like me when you want to eat something yummy but don’t want to ingest the calories so you rub this all over you and smell the deliciousness and it satisfies you (sort of).

As mentioned previously this was by far my favourite box from Nourished Life so far and I can’t wait for the August box.

Screw the Kale, I Want Chanel

chanelI’ve been wanting this Chanel handbag and have been dropping copious hints to my better half, who is either deaf, stupid or ignoring me. No doubt you can guess which.

So I laid it on a little thick the other day, expressing my need for such a gorgeous item.

“Do you know how much we spent on groceries last month?” he asked.

“No, why?” I replied.

“$2463” he said, his eyes flashing accusingly in my direction. “On groceries. Probably about the same price as that Chanel handbag.”

“$2463 because you will not let so much as a snack of non-organic, processed, pesticide-laden, toxic, possibly GMO food, pass by the lips of anyone in this family.”

“And because this is so important to you I know you wont mind forgoing the Chanel to ensure the ongoing health and wellness of our family.”  Then he turned and walked away.

The crappiest thing about this scenario is that I created it, so I don’t have any argument.

I have to live up to my Organic Diva-ness and commit to healthy food for the family and continue to carry my years-old Louis Vuitton, which really sucks.

(Sorry Louis, no offence.)
